Being a Cub takes you outdoors to a world of discovery and conservation. As you learn through play, completing clever crafts and having fun at camp, you build lifelong skills and friends.
Being a Meerkat takes you on the Meerkat Trail where you learn practical skills, whilst playing games and completing various fun challenges. Meerkats is an ECD programme that addresses real local needs.

WHAT WE DO:
We are part of the World Organisation of Scouting Movement in S.A, and are actively recruiting new Scouts✨😃
We are a group of trained volunteers who are committed to ensuring the development of young minds through play, interaction, song, dance, culture, community, and the outdoors,
This aligns with the mission set out for youth, established by Baden Powell.
Kids participate in Friday night activities and work towards both interest and advancement badges, linked to programmes that encourage their development through the above (NOT school classroom activities)
Kids will also participate in camps, hikes, cooking & swimming competitions, community service hours, fundraising projects, workshops, joint programmes within the district and so much more, as well as District, Regional and National events.
You are guaranteed their safety and interaction with peers in a like-minded environment that builds character and resilience.
